Reunion Night October 18, 2008

Well, it's over! I hope everyone had a good time. It's was great to get to see everyone again and catch up on what's been going on in our lives over the past years. The Committee was pleased that so many classmates were able to attend. Some of us stayed so late that we had to be run out of the building! I will begin posting some pictures soon. I have made a slide show of the pictures I took and I know a slide show can be posted on a blog--if my feeble mind can just figure out how to do it! Until then, I will just post individual pictures. I'm sure some of y'all got some great pictures too and I will be glad to include them on the blog if you will email them to me at ghsclass1967@gmail.com or at my home email jlm1949@suddenlink.net.

Several of you asked about the picture on the cake of our train ride in the second grade. Not all of us have that picture so Gayle has said I could borrow hers to scan and I can email it to anyone who wants it. Just let me know.

We forgot t announce at the reunion that we had enough money left over to purchase a brick for the new auditorium. Gayle is coordinating that for us and will have it engraved to denote that it is in honor of our class. Once I get the exact wording that will be on the brick, I will post it on the blog.

Again, it was great to see everyone and stay in touch!!!

Actually, LeElna is taking care of the purchase of the brick in memory of our deceased classmates. She will have to post exactly what it is that was decided upon as the inscription. I cannot remember.

It was a wonderful evening! I enjoyed visiting with each and every one of you! I am already looking forward to the next one.

It was fun to see everyone! I'm glad we had name tags, though! I didn't even recognize my own cousin, Bobby Marks. Wow, he and Linda can sure cut a rug, can't they?
